When I met Laurie on a flight back from San Francisco, I knew we would be instant friends. The flight home to New Hampshire was long enough to pretty much get "up to speed" on each others lives like we had been friends for years! And of course, as two strangers would obviously do while in discussion on a long flight, we discussed our battles and victories with love. We've stayed in touch since that flight, and I was beyond delighted to hear that she found her true love mere months later, in Alison. Planning their wedding for late this summer, Laurie and Ali wanted to schedule an engagement shoot- but also a family shoot with Laurie's three sons, and ex-husband Ken. It was such an inspiration to watch just how beautiful and different families can look these days. My hope is that you can see just what I mean in the following images...
