Jenn + Andrew = Married | Southern NH Wedding Photographer

First, before I start- thank you Jenn and Andrew for your patience as you were the last summer wedding of a long stretch, and you've had to wait longer than any of my clients ever have to wait to view their photos! I hope that what comes next you will consider worth the wait!

Now, introducing Jenn & Andrew's wedding. I will admit, I have a serious spot in my heart for the Arria family, and all associated with it. So it was a distinct honor to do another wedding with them! It just makes me sad that now they are all married... alas, what a wonderful wedding it was. At The Smith Barn, on a beautiful day, the ceremony took place in the gardens, followed by an incredible reception in the barn. Right after the couple decided to have their first look, two of my favorite Arria ladies surprised this beautiful bride with a release of butterflies in memory of those who could not be with Jenn and Andrew on that day. It was breath taking- and one of the hardest things to photograph as all I wanted to do was watch in awe, and had to remember to stay behind my lens.

Jenn and Andrew, if the smiles seen on your wedding are any indication of the life you two will hold together, it is so beyond full of happiness and love, and we wish you all the laughter and joy it may bring you along the way. Thank you for letting us be with you for your special beginning. xo

Steve + Kelly = Married | Southern NH Wedding Photographer

What an amazing wedding this was! I can't describe how incredibly impressed I was with the way these two beautiful people, with the help of their families, truly made their day everything it turned out to be and more. From the stunning renovation to Kelly's parents' barn, to the hand-painted signs, the mason jar chandelier, and oh so much more! There was so much love worked into every inch and moment of this day. Kelly and Steve, I can't thank you enough for letting us be a part of your amazing wedding. We wish you so much happiness and joy for the future ahead. If the work you put into your wedding is an example of the work you will put into your life together, than the two of you can simply accomplish just about anything together! All our love. XO

Renee + Dave = Married | Southern NH & Boston Wedding Photographer

This stunning wedding took place at The Saphire Estate in Sharon, MA. When we pulled up to the venue, we were speechless. And every detail that followed continue to simply compliment the perfect day.

Weddings like this one, for favorite Regis alumni, have become this added bonus for me. I absolutely LOVE working with friends from our days at Regiville, and Renee was no exception. She's such an awesome person- someone who's so easy going, so friendly, and so fun! I will admit, I had not had the pleasure of meeting Dave until this amazing day- pretty sure I introduced myself during formals, actually- haha. But oh, is he awesome. When I watched Renee walk down the isle, and his expression went from excitement, to pride, to joy- to such happiness he could have cried- I knew he was a good guy. I mean, Renee made an incredibly stunning bridge - but the way he looked at her- it was out of that genuine place where she literally took his breath away.

I hope you enjoy the snapshots from this fantastic day, and Renee & Dave, we can't thank you enough for letting us be a part of it! We wish you nothing but contagious laughter, spontaneous date nights, strong shoulders to bear any pain or sadness, fingers that interlock for both the hard moments but the intimate and special ones, and above all- love. Lots, and lots of love! XO

Tina + Pat = Married | Southern NH Wedding Photographer

What a fun wedding reception was Tina & Pat's reception at The Holiday Inn in Nashua, NH. Tina & Pat are dear friends of two of my favorite people- Jon & Biz, who actually got married a year ago to the date of Tina & Pat's reception! The best part? Jon & Biz's wedding was my first official wedding that I photographed! And it was such an awesome sense of de ja vu to see so many familiar faces in the groomsmen crowd from the year before. Both weddings had AWESOME people. Genuinely fun and fantastic friends and family - you just can't help to have fun. Oh, and did I mention, there was a pirate ship? Because there was. Yes, you read that right- Pirate ship!

Because Tina & Pat got married in Mexico, they decided to bring the awesome party home to New Hampshire. We started at Benson's for portraits with their gorgeous bridal parties. Seriously - these people belong on a magazine cover. After portraits we headed to the reception. Where not only was every detail amazing - you seriously felt like you were back in Mexico with them and didn't miss a moment - but they had a Pirate Ship as the bar! We set up a photobooth - where Tina showcased a beach background and awesome pirate themed props, and the guests loved it! The entrances were epic. I mean, EPIC. The bridal party entered singing "Heyyyyy baby, I wanna knowwwww - will you be my girl..." and went into a huge song and dance. THEN when the handsome groom hit the dance floor - he pointed to his gorgeous bride, who ran into his arms Dirty Dancing style and completely pulled off the most famous Baby move! I didn't know it was coming and completely LOVED it as much as the other guests! But hey, enough of my blabbering - I hope you love their photos as much as I loved taking them! Here's Tina + Pat = Married...

Tracy + Katie = Married

This blog post is a genuine labor of love for me. As mentioned during their engagement shoot, Tracy (TJ) and Katie hold a very special place in my heart, as TJ is how I met my wife, Steph. TJ and Steph grew up together, and I was fortunate enough to meet TJ a number of years ago- where we built a great friendship, that eventually led me to meet the love of my life. So to watch TJ meet Katie (who I had actually met prior to their getting together), fall in like, and then in love... and to be a part of their incredible day- capturing their story in a way that they can remember it for the rest of their lives is not only an honor and privilege, but a true heart-tug for me.

These two lovely ladies were married on The Seaport Elite II, and what a perfect night they had! The gorgeous sunset, light breeze, warm weather, and seriously happy crowd who knew how to get-down on the dance floor, just made it unforgettable. As these two families became one, no detail was left untouched. From the nautical decore, to the infinity bracelets, the candy bar, and amazing caricature artist... it was so much fun. It was also a unique opportunity for me, as I got to be a guest for the latter part of the evening. So I must thank both of my amazing second photographers, Deb Muir, and Lori Valeyko for their incredible work while I got to enjoy the celebration.

Tracy and Katie, I hope that your wedding was everything you dreamt it to be, as you both deserve every moment of support, love, laughter, and happiness. May your lives together be long and full, may you always stand beside each other (never above or below), and may each day be more special than the last. Best wishes and much love to you both.

Without further ado... Tracy + Katie = Married!

Snuggles and Bow Ties... | NH Newborn Photographer

Mr. O's mom and I grew up together in a small town in the smallest state. The thing about friends in small towns is that if you play sports, you are on the same team with the same people from grade school to high school graduation. Mr. O's mom and I played basketball together, and even though she was a grade older, she became one of my very best friends. In a small town where everyone knows everything about everyone - any personal secrets, high school crushes, anything you don't want everyone to know- you trust very few people with, and for me, she was one of them. We'd walk the track around the Softball field for hours talking about everything and anything. And when she graduated the year before me, she went to Franklin Pierce University- where she met her husband. Franklin Pierce was the first college I ever visited, and the irony is - it's where I now work, in Alumni Relations. Mr. O's mom and I have come full circle, and I love knowing that one of my oldest friends and I still get the opportunities to celebrate milestones - especially the birth of Mr. O!  I hope you enjoy the many faces of Mr. O, because I know that it was one of my all time favorite shoots...

Rachel + Pete = Married | Southern NH Wedding Photographer

I'm not sure where to start when describing just how much I adore this couple. My wife is an old and dear friend of Michelle, Rachel's maid-of-honor and sister-in-law. When I first met Rachel, there wasn't much I didn't love about her. She's hilarious. Like, straight-up funny. In the good kind-of-way. But then, you meet Pete- and you just can't get over how nice and adorable he is, and to top it off- when you watch the two of them together your heart melts. Let's put it this way, just as I expected, I cried during their ceremony- because that's just how much I love these two. This wedding had it all - from the DIY rustic amazingness that was Rachel's pinterest inspired design, to the EPICness that was their entrance into the ceremony. Pete told Rachel just a few days before the wedding that he visioned it like a huge sports party. Now most brides would have been like- YEA RIGHT. But not Rachel. She secretly schemed to make a huge entrance with high-fives, crazy energy, and even a SIGN for Pete to run through!!! I mean, my cheeks hurt I was laughing and smiling so much.

There were so many more photos to work with but I wanted to get their blog post up before I left for California, so without further ado, I hope you get the same kind of pitter patter and heart smile we did while working this wedding, just by checking out the images below. To Rachel and Pete- may each next day of the rest of your life together be full of love, joy, and happiness. xo

TJ + Katie = Engaged

This engagement session is extra special to me, because TJ is how I met my wife Steph. TJ and Steph grew up together, were on the same softball team, worked at the same part-time job. When TJ told us that she was dating Katie, we were thrilled because I had met Katie years before and ADORED her! After time went on, we knew these two were meant for each other. I was beyond flattered to take these photos and can't wait to celebrate with this gorgeous couple this summer!

Mike + Paula = Married

DSC7920.jpg

If I had one piece of advice for all the future newlyweds out there... it would be as simple as this: "Be like Paula & Mike." I mean that in every genuine and honest sense- and I'm sure one of my favorite couples of all time are shaking their heads as they read this... but I mean it. Despite the fact that neither like to be the center of attention- because they don't. I mean, they REALLY don't. And despite the fact that for one hot second after their "first look" I was worried they may skip the whole ceremony and just go elope - haha - no seriously! Despite the fact that they may have been ready for the whole shebang to be behind them... THEY are who I wish we could bottle and sell to all soon-to-be newlyweds out there, and I will tell you why. I've been fortunate to know Paula for nearly a decade now- from our days as Regis College ladies- and she was always one of the kindest, sweetest, and FUNNIEST ladies I knew. But when I met Mike last year for their engagement shoot- I just melted. His sense of humor when partnered with patience, is simply adorable. The two glow of adoration when they look at each other. They smile so big you can feel their ears hurt, because your ears are hurting smiling as you watch them! And their wedding day was anything but what I would coin a "smile-fest." So why would I tell all you future married beautiful couples out there to be like Paula & Mike? Because on your wedding day- despite nerves or not wanting to be the center of attention- you should depend on your better half to get you through it- to laugh with you at the schedule chaos and the silly traditional necessities. Your smiles should stretch across your faces at even the simplest touch of your love's hand. The best part of your night should be when you can get on the dance floor and let loose! Because that's what they did. They laughed... They cried... and boy did they DANCE! I hope you enjoy the extremely long blog post that follows... because it was too hard for me to not show the rest of the photos from their amazing day. Paula & Mike- all my love.
