This family is so special to us that it was my pleasure to capture their growing family last fall... just before the crazy winter hit us, we went out in Manchester at Stark Park to let the kids run around, frame up some family photos for their Christmas Card... and just hangout.
How gorgeous are they!!!
And of course... we had fun with props:
And the kids got their own moments to shine...
Newborn portraits are such a honor to do. Getting to meet little misters and misses during their first days of life, watching them take it all in with curiosity and excitement, but most importantly capturing all the little details that will grow so quickly parents don't want to miss them is amazing. Baby J's mom and I are both Regis ladies, and worked closely together when she was on the Board of Directors. It was so much fun visiting and catching up, and watching the glow she just couldn't get off her face as she watched her new bundle of joy hang out for his first photo shoot. And when I say hang out, I mean - HANG OUT! Baby J would not miss one moment of it, and couldn't fall asleep... until after I left of course. But with those eyes, we didn't mind one bit. I hope you enjoy the introduction to Baby J....
One of the smartest things I did as a beginning photographer is search for inspiration... well, if you've checked out CRAVE and all of Andee Tate's work, you'll realize there is simply NO lack for inspiration there. I watched her work/blog/facebook for a year, and finally, after I saved up a little bit and felt like I could splurge, I purchased her mentoring session. She was simply amazing. Her work is stunning, and she is worth every penny. For those beginning photographers out there, looking to start up their business, check out Andee's giveaway and maybe you'll get to win a mentoring session with her for free!!!

In this life, I've found myself very fortunate to cross paths with especially amazing people, especially this pair of truly incredible friends! I met Keith and his wife Jenna through my wife Steph, and they have been that "other" couple in our lives. Whether its dressing up for a night on the town, or hanging in on a Saturday with the pups, they are those people we are always trying to surround ourselves with. And, now that I've been Director of Alumni Relations at Franklin Pierce for a few months, it's a perfect time to feature two of FPU's favorite college sweethearts! I had so much fun with their shoot, and loved that they included Mr. Ollie! So without further ado, the lovely Jenna and Keith!
Reconnecting with old friends is possibly one of my favorite things about photography. Paula and I are Regis girls, and had so many laughs together back in Weston. She is undoubtably one of the sweetest, kindest, easy going, and light-hearted women I know! And when I met Mike, and witnessed how easily he lit up her face - made her laugh - and was so naturally in love with her... I knew that the shoot was going to be special. I wish nothing but the very best for my old friend, and can't wait to be there for their Special Day!!!!
There are certain shoots where every piece to the puzzle falls into place... just like this one! Not only did the family bulldog Maddie make her way into too many great shots, but the furniture, the outfits, the posing - the Graham's knew how to work a shoot!
The 2012 piece to their puzzle... The family wanted to make sure they got some pictures infront of their gorgeous new home...
Put together, some of the center of every family puzzle... Is the sibling love...
Important pieces to every family puzzle... Individually they hold their own... Oldest to youngest...
And last but not least - the final pieces to the puzzle - the ones that provide those corner parts that offer structure and guidance. This gorgeous couple could easily be mistaken for siblings! But these parents deserved their own cameo in the shoot, so we made sure to get some close ups...
I love when families get together to have a joint family shoot! Taking advantage of having everyone at the shoot is a perfect way to spend the day together - but capture those special family memories as well!
One of the great benefits of gathering everyone for family shoots is that each family gets group shots, but also their individual shots of their kids....
and they can even get some couple shots in there!
But the best is getting the group shots of everyone together! What's not to fall in love with during a Fall Family Photo Shoot!
