Maternity shoots are a newer trend to photography from what I've seen. They've really become popular over the last few years, and I'm so glad they've caught on. Think about it, how cool is it for your child to be able to see gorgeous images of when they were growing in your belly? Yes, having had twins, I know what it feels like to feel bigger than I would have liked to feel in a photograph. But I will tell you, it's totally worth documenting ALL OF THE WORK you put into that pregnancy. You hand over 9 months of your life to create your baby- I'd say all that hard work deserves proof, don't you?

Once your little one arrives, you have approximately 2-3 weeks that they are super sleepy and willing to be posed in all sorts of adorable ways. This is when it's best to have your newborn session. We'll work with your newborn for approximately 2-3 hours to get all sorts of amazing images! Granted only about 45 minutes of the 3 hours is for shoot time, as the rest is what takes the baby to sleep, but this takes the pressure off you to know we provide ample amounts of time to get the images you're hoping for. These sessions are not lifestyle sessions, but can include lifestyle images, or images with family members if you choose. Mainly the session focuses on capturing images of your newborn.

As your family continues to grow, we want to be there for your milestones! Baby's first birthday is such an important time! Why not celebrate with an awesome cake smash? Our cake smashes include the cake and decorations. The first bit of the shoot is taken in whatever outfit you want to showcase. Then we move onto your child's "birthday suit" plus diaper, as things are about to get messy. We let the child SMASH THAT CAKE! And then finish with a super fun bubble bath!
